Our trip down south
Ok, so it was only Iowa. But it was fun and most importantly, Millie got to spend time with her grandparents.
On our way down to Waverly, we stopped at Emma Krumbee's orchard. Millie wasn't sure about it at first, until she realized she was surrounded by abos. Abos abos, everywhere abos!
We don't know why, but Millie LOVES goats. She ignored the teeny tiny miniature horses and donkeys. Go figure.
It was really windy.
I told Tony this wouldn't work:
Ice cream and apple crisp for lunch. Are we the best parents ever or what?
Reading with Grandpa.
Walking to the river with Grandma.
My in-laws yard is really big. That's Grandma sitting on the deck waaaay up there.
Just chillin' out and watching CNN on Sunday morning. Since the debates were held past her bedtime, Millie had to catch up on the latest polls.

Teddy Bear Park
Tony took the last couple of days off, and even though he spent most of that time miserable with a cold and allergies, we did manage to take a quick family trip to Stillwater today. We started off with lunch at Freight House, then a stroll by the river, before heading up the hill to Teddy Bear Park. It's a lovely little park with giant teddy bear statues and fun play structures for the little ones. Millie was in teddy bear heaven.
Checking out the boaps (boats) with Dada
A little afraid of the boaps. Take me away Dada.
Teddy Bear Park
See, told you they were giant
Tubes are cool
I could do this all day
I love slides!
But I need Dada to help me go down the big spirally one
This place is awsome
Hey, didn't Zach say there were trucks down here?
