Baby Farm Animals

Supposedly, Spring is here, and with it, the birth of a variety of edible...I mean, adorable animals such as piglets, calfs, and teeny tiny chicks. This week we headed off to the Minnesota Zoo to view, pet, and feed the babes. It was a lovely day, so we also got to have a picnic and play in the impressive outdoor play areas at the zoo. It was a great outing, complete with a monorail ride, of course. We were with Zach, after all!

I admit to being alarmed at how nonchalantly Millie was riding that rooster. Simply put, I thought she was attemping to mount an actual live rooster, and I don't have the impressinon that roosters enjoy being ridden, and yet they both looked so calm and happy! And then the winning moment: "oh! That is not in fact an actual rooster,it's a statue!" durrrr...

Also how cute is Millie with Georgia? Precious!

Ummm...I apologize for the weirdness of that comment. Clearly once I've taken an Ambien I need to put down the computer instead of making what I believe are very funny comments on people's blogs.
